The ground floor is for savouring good food, sharing ideas and meeting people. ho36 has created a canteen that fits in with its style: simple, friendly, and open all the time, seven days a week.
A promoter of fine food, especially if it comes from Lyon, and a champion of locavorism, ho36 aims to offer regional products, such as fruit juices from Emile Vergeois, craft beers from La Canute Lyonnaise, wines from the winegrowers cooperative in Buxy, coffee from the young team at Lyon’s Owl Brothers Coffee Roasters (OBCR), or vermouth from Maison Dolin... ho36 also works with local shops: teas and infusions are selected at "En Aparthé” (400 metres away), pastries from "Piece of Cake", artisanal pizzas come from the PizzaLab (200 metres), delicious bread from “L’Atelier du Boulanger” (350 metres) and succulent “lyonnaiseries” from Fanton (cured and fresh sausages). A delicious 100% local selection. Oriental style, ho36 offers mint tea every day at five o'clock to everyone present, whether they are residents or not. An ideal way to revive the teatime ritual before the evening entertainment begins, orchestrated by ho36’s ultra-creative artistic director: Johann Milani from Sofffa. At weekends, there is BRUNCH, on Saturday and Sunday.
